Have you tasted a honey dew?
The appearance of these two honey dew got my attention, I remember when I first try it was back in my high school days which is 10 years ago. Upon riding my father-in-law's car, we stopped-over at a fruit stand beside the highway. At my excitement, I bought 3kilos of Honey Dew which only sells for 30 pesos per kilo. It is so much cheaper that public markets and supermarkets which triple the price. The taste, by it's name Honey Dew, it seems that it taste like a dew of honey. Somehow tasteless but refreshing especially when I put some ice cubes on it.

We misses you Chacha
Chacha is Dylan's dog, but due to his asthma we have to give Chacha away. So every time we go home to my in-laws, Dylan got the chance to see him again and he really misses him. For our surprise, she was pregnant. We are planning to get her this summer after she gave birth and also her children. In our new home, we think that there is somethings missing- of course a dog. And we are all excited to welcome Chacha again!

Estopado, my dear!
I grow up with my lola's kitchen and I remember that estopado is one of her special recipes. Here's how to do it.
Ingredients:
1 kilo Pata, cut
2 tsp garlic, minced
2 whole onions, chopped
1/2 tsp pepper kernels
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup soy sauce
estopado spices
cooking oil
Procedure:
1. Mix meat, pineapple juice and soy sauce in a sauce pan and bring to boil. Set aside sauce.
2. In a frying pan, bring to heat and put oil. Fry meat and set aside.
3. In a pan, saute garlic, onion and meat.
4. Pour sauce (pineapple and soy sauce mix) and bring to boil.
5. Put pepper and estopado spices. Add sugar.
You can add sugar or salt for your preferable sweetness/saltiness taste.

Oregano for asthma
Dylan got his asthma last October and he was hospitalized that time. It was his first attack and we are not aware of his illness. The doctor advise us to avoid places like farm, smoking areas, heat and pets. The environment was the most factor that made him an asthmatic. So after researches I made, I was at his doctor's clinic when I read a parenting magazine and found out that Oregano can help prevent asthma attacks. And when I got home, tadah!...I ask my mother to plant me some and she got it from our neighborhood. So every morning, I'll make sure to give him Oregano juice.
The recipe for it:
7-10 leaves of Oregano
1 tsp water
Wash the leaves and put it on a pot, add water. Bring it to boil with very low heat. Let it cool and squeeze the leaves. Give it to your child before having any meal or milk every morning.
I find it effective, as for a month try that we don't experience any asthma attacks. The only problem is, the Oregano plant is running out of leaves. Good thing that it is not expensive and there are so many Oregano planted on my neighbor's backyard.

Daddy and Dylan's get together
After a month of being apart, yesterday Daddy surprised us when he knocks on the door. It was only Saturday, I thought that he will arrive on Sunday. We go upstairs and he wants to take a nap but to my excitement, I wake Dylan up and joking him that his Totey (my youngest brother) arrived. So he wake up and said Daddy with a very huge smile on his face. After an hour playing, he joke his Daddy and called him Totey and then laugh out loud. We went downstairs, and Daddy didn't have a chance to get a nap. They played bubbles and I am so grateful for this scene that we are a whole family again. This was so priceless.
